Grant writing for a non-profit really jaded me. The hoops that orgs have to jump through to possibly get the awards, and then comply with reporting are not worth the paltry $1000. Businesses could quickly end the suffering of many people, but instead they just offer pennies.

I also write about dance and recently reviewed Bovino’s clownish show of ICE force as if it were a site dance performance. I cannot recommend any repeat performances of his, but there will be many to come, sigh.

Thanks, and please do share! My choir teacher in high school taught me this and I tell everyone I can, especially when things get hard and I’m losing hope. Pass it on and know that your voice inspires folks, even when you have to take a breath.
