@cameron-cj.bsky.social and I worked so hard on this project and we're finally so glad to see it fully launched. We still might have some updates for it in the near future but as of right now we're going to rest.

I already got ideas for the next project, so I can't wait to start on that.

I don’t think it’s a straight up body snatch. It’s more like all of Palpatine’s anger and hate (which is the collective of all Sith before him) goes into Rey and she essentially becomes enslaved to the dark side.

I left a lengthy comment on YT. To summarize my points there:

Skinner box, length of progress, and flow are not elements unique to roguelites and so don't explain why they are popular.

My theory is that they are popular because they easier to make so most indie games will be them.

Agreed. While it probably made little difference, it was very stressful not seeing our game on the newly released tab. Now we're there, except we're several pages in because it turns out, truly dozens of games are released each day.

It will soon be cheaper to buy The Chaser's Voyage at full price than a month of Xbox Gamepass Ultimate. I think we all know what the smart move here is.

Something very annoying about the launch of our game is that Steam is saying our release date is the same as our Early Access date, making our 2 day old game look like it came out years ago.

It's kinda holding us back right now.

You can get repairs at space ports in the middle of your mission, but if you didn't destroy the last bounty hunter you faced, they can find and ambush you at those space ports.
