With so little to be joyous about lately, let’s not condemn others for trying to find something to raise their spirit. A distraction with like minded people for a couple of hours and celebrating a win is no way going to change the world for better or worse, but it feel good to feel good for awhile.

We just celebrated the anniversary of Repeal Day, hopefully one is coming soon for the truth.

They are simply consolidating production to two of their three distilleries, while updating the smallest distillery and doing equipment repairs. But yes, especially the Canadian ban on whiskey to pushback on tariffs has caused a serious problem for US distilleries.

My partner has worked for Walmart ( at disribution center) for 30 years and we have received a turkey or a bag of groceries to make a full meal every year. Plus their employee card gives them a 10% discount on anything bought at the store. I’m not saying what they do is enough, but it’s something.

Both are solid. Hemingway has always been a favorite of mine and the bourbon ( though I wish it were higher proof) has a nice balanced flavor. The Pepper is a nice historic brand using a time honored mash bill. Enjoy!
