Thanks for the tips! I have sandy soil, so carrots would be a good idea. I’ll put more in more often. Have had moderate success with parsnips. I feel sad thinning them as those little seeds tried so hard!

I’m fairly new to this veggie garden caper and seem to have boom then bust. Never know what the outcomes will be in South Eastern Vic. Like your idea of planting a few things often to get a consistent and decent feed. Forgot the parsnips this year 😫 Hope you get a good crop.

Merry Christmas to you, Ian. Looking forward to pictures of your special roast, and Unit’s take on the festivities 🥳

I used this one to warm everyone up when I was an aerobics instructor back in the 80’s 🤣🤣🤣

Bugger. Rest, fluids, rest and more rest. Nagi’s Green Goddess soup is a winner if you can get someone to make it for you.

Left overs. Home made tagliatelle with prawn, chilli and cherry tomato sauce. Surprised by how simple and tasty it was, so looking forward to a second serve. Not the level of presentation of your work, though!

It feels like I’ve walked into a warm, welcoming café. So much better than the dark, smoke filled bar with tacky carpet at the other place.
