"Investigating"
It's more like they are investigating Renee Good's wife to try to expand the absurd terrorist narrative they made up minutes after the killing.

Scare all dissenters. It's not even just brown people anymore.

Trump hasn't settled 7 wars, he's settled on having 8 wars... Venezuela, Cuba, Greenland, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, Panama and Iran. I might have missed some.

With this I mean, add pro democracy, pro cooperation propaganda. As much as I'd prefer a world without it, we exist in an ecosystem where the campaign to tear us apart is strong. Let's make a stronger campaign to keep us together. I personally think Americans and Canadians and Mexican should too.

This is what he wants, an excuse to use declare war on Americans with the full power of the military. I am thankful it took this long. He is weaker and less popular now than he was in July when he kept talking about the insurrection act. I hope the response to this is as bad as it looks from my end.

I don't have faith that Democrats can actually stand firm on a shutdown. They didn't last time when every single indicator suggested they would have crumbled the regime by holding out.

That's fair. If you actually believe he won the election, why not provide evidence of that reality? After all, why accept being called a patriot if you did was be loyal to your guy? Some really believed him. It's the people that are ok with simply being pardoned I worry about.

Didnt Denmark already say why this a bad idea?
This is one of those more important than it seems kind if stories. Let's not let it slip away in our WW3 minds when we are dealing with pandemics of once dead diseases.

That's the problem. I'd understand, but reading the framing of the first comment is still knowing that everyone on this thread is against what happened. Arguing over details creates factions and infighting in a coalition on the same opinion. What's important is that the US doesn't just do this.

It's almost like we forgot about all the failure military interventions from Cold War to Iraq and forgot about the failure of political intervention in Latin America since what... the 1840s. I say almost, because it seems our current government is glorifying the days of those failures.

I don't understand why there is an argument. Making this an argument over Maduro's character takes attention away from the crime of this war and likely the corruption that will come after it. It seems that everyone commenting here appears to agree on that.

I imagine he will attempt to bribe a Venezuelan Caninet member to make one sided deals to take their oil and bribe an individual and call it a day. I don't see this regime even putting the effort the Bush Administration put into Iraq.
