Chris Miller might object. He wrote "The Toilet Papers" in 1971 for The National Lampoon" (still, the single most hilarious thing that I have EVER read), before he wrote the screenplay for "Animal House".

Kind of a bit off topic, but have you seen the 6-episode "Hit & Miss" with Chloë Sevigny? Kind of an anomaly for 2012, definitely not what you think it is, but has that British feel to the pacing and characters.

Brandon could be a contender too
