I am just bummed to see Alabama incorrectly listed second in the alphabetized states list when entering appointments! If you type "AL" it will enter Alaska for you.

Have heard this too, apparently a political appointee at HHS has terminated approval at the last minute despite travel plans being approved months ago and conference costs already paid.
