This is one of my latest canvases. I recently exhibited this piece in Holmfirth Art Week in the Civic Hall. I have put the grass in since then to try and make it a bit more lifelike.

I love hiking in the countryside.

I find it really difficult to find fresh figs in any store that I use. I have resorted to dried figs as a back up. Anyone know where there is a consistent supply of fresh figs in and around Huddersfield? West Yorkshire. 🙏
