But, but, but it’s £5bln saved in support of my imaginary friend “fiscal rules!” Actually it equates to circa 0.34% of govt expenditure, a rounding error at best. Performative cruelty on the poorest in our society, yet again. Call it out for what it is - evil. Who’d have thunk it from, ahem, Labour
