So you think the victim was in the wrong place, she disobeyed a lawful order, the attempt to breach her vehicle was lawful, and the first shot was defensible? The 2 deadly shots into the driver’s window, allowing her to bleed out, and smearing her as a domestic terrorist are still INDEFENSIBLE!

It is terrible that Trump and Hegseth are ordering the wanton and unjustified killings of civilians, and doing so in our name. It is terrible that Republicans in Congress are unwilling to stop or even investigate them.
A scorched boat washed ashore on a remote beach in Colombia. Then mangled bodies. And then empty packets, a few with marijuana traces. We matched the physical and digital evidence to a U.S. airstrike — and found a fishing community terrified to go to sea. www.nytimes.com/2025/12/29/w...

The Democratic National Committee is investing in low-profile state legislative races in ruby red Mississippi as the party tries to make inroads in the South — a Republican-dominated region expected to wield more power in future elections.

People on the Left want the Epstein Files released, and we don't care who is on it.
We want all predators, rapists, and human traffickers to face accountability, no matter what party they belong to.

Republicans control the House by a 7-seat margin, but that's with four vacant seats.

Does Trump really want to "take out" Massie? And the three other GOP representatives who joined him? Seems like he's playing with fire.

So, yeah: What exactly is in those files?
So Rep. Massie stands up for Epstein victims, and Trump immediately goes live on the air to say he's an "insurgent" who should be “taken out”.

What on earth is in those files?

What Danielle said.

According to the Yale Budget Lab, the average effective tariff rate in this economy right now is 18.2%

Let me put that another way.

President Trump has raised taxes on American businesses and consumers by -- on average -- 18.2%
A thing I really need people to keep in mind: 15% tariffs are high, historically speaking. 10% tariffs are high.

The average effective tariff rate before this term was just over 2%. Anything double-digits is high!

Trump pledged to release all the Epstein Files.

The American people want him to, even the MAGA base.

But he won’t do it.

I wonder why…

Greg was a great Mississippian and a great human. This is a terrible loss to Mississippi. On a personal note, Greg generously helped me in my 2018 race for the U.S. Senate in MS. Peace to his children, Madeline and Mark.
So sad to hear about the passing of Greg Iles, the author of the "Natchez Burning" trilogy (among his many works) and one of Mississippi's great contemporary novelists.

I also appreciate his kindness.

Thanks for everything, Greg. Your talent and voice will be missed.
