We invaded a sovereign nation under false pretenses (nothing new actually), we threaten violent invasion of a peaceful neighbor, we kill American citizens who protest against our governments police state, and there is no reaction of merit from our former presidents. WTF

Charlottesville, Virginia showed up bigly today! There were more flags than a maga rally, folk songs, scary Quakers praying for peace and even scarier inflatable dinosaurs!

Let's make the term quislings great again. A quisling is a traitor who collaborates with an enemy force occupying their territory. This term applies to all Trump supporters and democrats who roll over and cooperate with his destructive agenda.

It's time for our former military leadership to speak up. I know that there is some unwritten rule about staying out of politics, but we are beyond politics. What Trump and his cronies are doing is an existential threat to our democracy. They need to speak now or be remembered for sitting idly by.

I'm watching The Americans, the series about Soviet KGB agents living among us. This show would be frightening if it weren't for the betrayal that we brought upon ourselves. Not all of us of course. I'm a veteran of the cold war, but never imagined this. Treachery lives in our White House.

So I just read about Trumps outrage about Pete Rose being snubbed by the MLB. He's banned from the Hall of Fame. He promises a full pardon of Pete Rose. Not sure how that will get him into the HOF, unless they fold like all of the other cowards.

Enjoying watching the Eagles dominate. I hope they refuse to go to the White House again. Trump probably won't invite them anyway. In fact, he will have Elonia investigate the NFL for rigging the game.
