House budget: $2.0 trillion in spending cuts targeting the poor, $4.5 trillion in tax cuts for the wealthy. Net $2.5 trillion increase in the debt. Guess we can dispense with the “fiscal responsibility” bullshit.

The best resistance idea I’ve heard is creation of a Shadow Cabinet that regularly reports on actions if their putative counterparts. For example, the shadow HHS Secretary could explain why firing the CDC disease surveillance staff is a spectacularly bad idea.

Trump doesn’t have the intellectual wherewithal to pull off this blitzkrieg. So who’s pulling the strings? My guess is Steven Miller.

Still in disbelief that we are here. Lots of blame to go around, but Garland dawdling on the investigations deserves his share.
