50k btc coming soon? There's a lot of people sitting very underwater on this and I suspect the sell will start before EOY. This may cascade into other vehicles as they deleverage across the board.

David Chau of inside options has been doing iron condor trades last several days and doubling down every time it's blown. He just made possibly his last bet for tomorrow. If the range gets busted, he may get wiped out. Possible explanation for this holiday ramp. Someone wins, someone loses.

Only 40 to new ATH on SPX. You know they are going to find out what stops are above ATHs. Maybe not tomorrow but very very soon I would think.

Market is rotating out of NDX into SPX. Signs that it is a little risk adverse and wanting to sit in SPX because NDX, you know, has the AI bubble. Meanwhile, treasuries still leaking, carry trade risks, etc. Think SPX is safer?

A true story about AI: The other day, I asked Alexa what day was Christmas. She said Wednesday. I thought it was Thursday so I asked her to check again and she said she checked multiple sources and it was wednesday. I checked on my phone and indeed it shows Thursday.

Some see low vix level as signs x-mas rally is coming. Certainly, there is no tension in the market so it appears to reinforce that argument. But realize that x-mas and weekends tend to suppress vix because of no trading days and premiums decay as a result. That's also a reason its low.

The current embargo in Venezuela, where China is a major customer of oil, is a form of financial warfare. As US increases its action, assume that China will make a counter move.

With US FEd lowering .25 and Japan raising .25, the spread between US and Japan widened to .5 in a matter of days. Remains to be seen if carry traders start dumping now or later.
