The Brian Lehrer Show just did a call-in segment on listeners' morning routines and it's a humbling exercise in selection bias. Every caller is like, well my alarm goes off at 4am, then I do some Tai Chi, read for 20 min, then hit the gym for an hour so I get back in time to walk the dog before work
