I appear to have upset Elsevier somewhat by attempting to unsubscribe from their marketing emails.

Finally caught one of Toronto's two daily incoming A380s on arrival (and also a solar halo).

Surrounding the Sun, about halfway across the image in all directions, is a faint bright halo caused by light scattering through the thin high altitude clouds.

Area woman takes worst photo of Saturn, is asked to leave field of astronomy immediately.
Theoretically a photo of Saturn. It's almost entirety black except for a small yellow-white dot near the centre with small bulges on both sides, caused by the planet's rings or perhaps some bright moons. They may also simply be smearing from the photo being taken with an extremely unsteady hand.

A long panorama of the northern rim of Gale Crater on Mars as viewed by the Curiosity rover's colour Mastcams. The image has been white-balanced to approximate Earth-like conditions, so the sky is a pale blue, while the ground is a pale pink/red. Several nearby buttes are visible at the two sides of the image, and the terrain slopes down towards the crater floor. The crater wall rises in the far distance, made slightly hazy by dust in the air.

Looks like the clouds parted at #EPSCDPS2025 just in time for the #LunarEclipse!

Pulling this out and adding another data point every time there's a report that the Line 5 opening is delayed again. (Based on xkcd.com/2014/ with assistance from @matplotlib.org )
