We currently pay large insurers a 20% commission for handling the reimbursement for our medical care. There was a big Supreme Court case over realtors, rigging the system to get 6%.

The big hospital systems have the specialty oncology, cardiology, and surgical clinics that make the highest reimbursement levels of any service, but they buy primary care doctors and keep the referral system in house, even if it means losing money on the family practice/pediatric clinics.

I worked at A&M in the 90s when a frat got put on probation for having a party that “black face” was prevalent. I’m not surprised that these kids are indoctrinated to Trump world. There was also an incident where a newborn baby was found in a dorm trash compactor. Great school to hide reality

The FDA is making decisions that don’t seem to make sense these days. They have become so focused on safety that they disregard efficacy and, perhaps more importantly, have no regard for the expense involved in the development process. A decision like this can kill small companies

Scientists, unlike politicians, are required to disclose any payments received from pharmaceutical companies and present their conflict of interest statements before every presentation and to their university employer.

Being in the US without documents is not a crime, it’s a civil offense. Hiring an undocumented worker is a crime. They should be arresting the boos man and seizing his truck.

I heard today that Stanford and other universities have cancelled all graduate admissions for this year because the costs for graduate students are offset by grants from the NIH and other governmental agencies. Kids that pinned their future on getting a PhD in science now have fewer options!!!

Perhaps, by using an LLM does not give you 25 years of experience in a field, and an understanding of how the intended audience reviews and evaluate work products. It is even more important to have that experience when you are dealing with regulatory agencies like the FDA.
