A few years ago I wrote about how congressional Republicans were writing about a coming"IRS Army" that they described as an armed, politically charged Democrat "militia".

Contrasted with the current ICE force, it's just striking me as a bit odd

Something curious about this moment is that for the last 15 years congressional Republicans have railed against "tyranny" for all sorts of things that a Democrat in the White house tried to do.
