I Listened to this. Was surprised at how centrist Gates was . Seemed like Remnick was trying to get Gates to criticize or condemn this or that and Gates wasn’t having it. Remnick struggled and changed line of questioning. Gates a pragmatist not a politician and it shows in this interview.
