He sometimes may even believe what he says and have the public’s interest in mind but in a time when presentation by leaders matters he turns off even allies. The time for senate machinations is past. Make a movement leader the face of Dems in the senate.

That Dem leaders still think a deal on a program is relevant is exactly the problem. In the best case you can’t trust Trump and to try to deal with him is naive. They should have made the shutdown about more than the ACA. But by conceding here they are just helping to dismantle gov services.

Dem senators at least control their own caucus. The 35 plus of you should act tomorrow to choose a new leader and encourage a new DSCC committee chair. NYC voter here. Why contribute to Dems with such awful leadership.

On a practical note, no gold grab bars? As a 6’ 185lb 73 year old I would never be able to get out of that bath tub. Who is he building it for?
