not 100% related, but a couple of them got updated poses from their initial ZA renders, and Hawlucha in particular actually changed it to bring the legs together, which makes it specifically more Y posed than before (people used the legs separated as an X thing)

I think what I like the most about this is that it's not just the giant X on the chest that makes this an X design, it also has the flowing stuff on the back which can create two halves of an X with the arms (sorta like mega scissor's claws being 2 x halves)

like Brock has a version of his FRLG design, while Misty takes more from the anime/yellow. Then you have like Lance who got a remake of his RG design for the first time (all his other designs are based off of GSC). It's just cool to me, I dunno

games are an art form that's really set apart by their interactivity so I think something like Tetris where it's about the player's interactions with it it actually benefits the art-ness of the game, in a way. Like imagine if movies could never be made just to be watched and enjoyed, it had to artsy

I'd also love to see squids get a unique baby model, since the baby squids where added to java recently-ish. It could be cool to see a semi-translucent squid baby. Similarly, seeing a larval axolotl would be super dope.

the sniffer is one that's really stood out to me as a mob that needed a unique baby model, even back when it was added. The mob vote video showed the snifflet as a lot smaller and less old feeling, but in game it's just a down scaled sniffer, which makes it super pixel dense.
