When Miles Davis was a child, his Mom would put him on a train to his grandmother's with a box of homemade fried chicken. But it was so good, Miles ate it all at once and cried the rest of the way there. That happens when I make fried chicken and try to save leftovers!

I loved making albums, but they overstayed their welcome for me. Because I'm so exacting, they took 6 months or more, & that was 6 months on the same ideas. Now, doing tracks, I can try something new every two weeks. I feel like I've grown more in 2 years than in 10! And the albums make themselves!
