My main argument against this would be the insufferable sky sports debates. Like the “I’ve never seen a zone score a goal” days but worse!

Companies with dedicated desks for each employee when only a fraction are in the office at any one time, thus having a much bigger office than needed, are doomed to failure and bankruptcy 👍

Yep, maybe with arsenal that’s partly due to a lack of a single main goalscorer in recent seasons, so the whole team gets the credit and now the blame

Thank you for that detail. Maybe instructive our two 9s are “underperformers”. Salah consistently over performs (except last season which shows any player can downturn). Haaland/Isak too (Haaland in bad form is still roughly level)

This is a great read, thank you. The question I had after reading: How do we perform against xG compared to our rivals? How much of xG over/under performance is due to quality of the people taking the shots? I guess my question boils down to: is there an underlying lack of finishing quality?

Two of those for dinner = 30p. And people mocked Lee Anderson…

On his Arsenal podcast, Alan Davies and co-hosts always used to call our former player “Ainsley Maitland-Niles (Conservative)” in the manner of an election candidate
