We have a ton of lettuce, Swiss chard and dill. Organic, yummy and ready for harvest. If you’re interested in coming over, these will be available for at least a week. $1 per head of lettuce; chard and herbs are priced by quantity. Barder is also totally acceptable 👍

GARDENING FRIENDS !!

I have a ton of seeds if anyone is local and looking to grow some food.
I am planning a dump truck of wood chips delivered to my house. Please let me know if you would like some.

As a side note, if anyone knows where I can get free compost, that would seriously rock!!

I’m really excited to be getting the garden planning and some seeds started. I will post some pictures when there is something to photograph 😂

This morning she barely waited for me to get up before she took my spot so happily.
I asked her in a playful voice if she was comfy. She lifted her head and I got this. She’s so stinking cute!😊

Hey Fantasy readers: What if the only way to save the world was to relive the worst night of your life all over again?

In my book there is a power in memories and stored within the artistic creations we all can make. Available in hardback, paperback and ebook from read.goodhamproductions.com

I think this is powerful and very pertinent.

Gumbo tips (broken up into a few posts/topics)

Broth/stock: ingredients I saved through the year and frozen. Peels and tails of shrimp; onion peels (with tops and bottoms); celery and bell pepper cores, ham bones, etc.

I roasted, sautéed & simmered before straining through a fine screen colander.

In happier news: Support Costco.
If you are not already a member, consider joining if you can afford to. They have great savings, and 98% of shareholders defended DEI against fascist activists.

So Target is joining the other big businesses that have chosen not to care and have turned their backs on DEI initiatives.

This makes me so sad. I really enjoyed shopping there and bought a lot of diversity focused products. What a shame. BOYCOTT LIST UPDATED TO INCLUDE TARGET

Ok, I’m just curious if anyone is interested in my gumbo recipe/tips or if someone else would like to share theirs??

I’m an open book and I love collaborative culinary fun. I think sharing recipes and ideas for food prep is wonderful.

So, over 24hrs after starting, this gumbo is tasting amazing. Can’t wait for dinner time 🥹

Gumbo stock has officially started!! I’m getting more confident and gutsy with this year’s batch. Sooo excited. It’s so difficult to wait. We have to remind ourselves that this is just the first step 😋

This is it 8 years later, after recovering. It is very used :)

This is a throw back to something I made because we needed it. It’s a storage bench for seating in our dining room.

This project was very time intensive. But it really was worth the elbow grease

So, the 4 picture max is interesting for this project. Here is the beginning of a china hutch I got for $1 at goodwill. Pick tag days rock lol. My next post(s) will show the progress and end result of the transformation.
