So before you cry "FAKE!" at a post, ask yourself, are you sure? — Because an em dash — is only a couple keystrokes away — and sometimes it makes a paragraph much more digestible! ╕╖╣┤╡╢▒▓║╗╝╜╛┐└┴┬├┼╞╟╚╔╩╦╠═╬╧╨╤╥╙╘╒╓╫╪┘┌█▄▌▐▀
Look at all that (just some alt codes... no AI)

I use a lot of alt codes for formatting like
• Bullet points that I can use in social media posts with alt+0149
• – en dashes with alt+0150
• ™ is a fun one with alt+0153
(Notice how most of these are just few digits apart and easy to remember?)

I know a thing or two about a thing or two. The intelligent use of alt codes is almost a lost art these days but I know them and use them.
I type my own em dashes with alt+0151 on the numpad. — — — it's not hard. AI does use them a lot but I am an actual writer and use them often.

So before you assume every well-written post was AI-assisted, remember:
There are still a few of us out here who learned to type before we could talk to our computers. I used to host chat rooms on MSN via dial-up internet.

They’re not signs of a robot uprising. They’re signs of someone who learned how to write with intention.
I use alt codes. I format on purpose. I write rhythmically. Not because I’m pretending to be a machine, but because I care how words land.
