Sudbury, Suffolk's very own horror film festival back in 2025 for a bigger and better event! Submissions now open!
This year's event was absolutely amazing so thank you again for all for the support, we can't do it without you! We'll be fairly quiet now until next year but will be vigilantly beavering away in the background, so keep them suggestions coming!

Looking forward to October 2026!

Submissions for features and shorts will be open from today via @FilmFreeway at the links at the submissions and bottom of every page of our website.

Tickets should be on sale Easter as tradition dictates with full line-up announcement around late August/early September.

The 'suggest a classic' movie page is open for suggestions at rebrand.ly/g44p5ri. Some have asked that we screen some of the classics from our first editions from 2016, so if they're what you want to see, then let us know!

Doors will open at 5pm on Thursday 22nd for an evening session and a little earlier on Friday at around 10am to cram even more horrror! That means next years edition will feature 22 movies - 11 new movies, 11 classics and at least 22 new shorts! How far we've come...

...over the last decade. We're selling out, filling hotels, screening bigger movies, hosting UK premieres, welcoming international guests and building a reputation in the crowded world of horror film festivals. And that's all happening right here, in little old, Sudbury Suffolk!
