I just finished this book and I am not sure how I feel. It was a quick read. It was better than No longer human than by Dazai for me #booksky

Is it the era of more indie games over triple AAA? Will you buy early access? Or will you go for PC games that hopefully will stay the same price and will probably have the more indie games produced.

Is what Nintendo doing suck with their $90 games? Yes! But it doesn't come for a surprise. Just like back then consoles were a lot of money for the average person and same with games. This means the we the consumer have a choice to make. What games do we buy? Do we buy the console?

I hate sounding like a defender of the cost of the rise of price of games/consoles but like min wage in USA in 1977 was 2.30 and median household was 9800. The Atari was 199 (todays money 1000 accounting for inflation) and a game was $20-30. And you know what Super Mario for the n64 was $60

Day 14/20

I did recently read this book. It wasn't bad but not worth 5 stars. It was definitely a feminist take on how women are treated badly in greek mythology, like how Medusa was assaulted in Athena's temple but Athena took revenge and the general fickleness of the Greek Gods. #booksky

Day 11/20 the screwtape letters. I read it in a low of my life but also when I found out that the book influenced the album Dear Wormwood by the Oh Hellos. I found Rothfuss also because of this album. Cs Lewis as everyone probably knows was friends with Tolkien #booksky

Day 10/20 the cleric quintet sure it’s 5 books in one buts one book 😂 but ok I don’t care for the author for his Mary sue characters but the MC this one and his journey with faith is remarkable. It’s really awe inspiring from what I recall I need a reread to see if my memory serves right #booksky

Day 9/20 I’ll go back to fictionally books soon but I am bipolar & while I have been living with since I was a teen (diagnosed) & 35 now this book I read several years ago actually made me understand my mental illness better like why I have memory issues.

I asked for 1 and 1/4 lbs of sweet potatoes and my boyfriend came back with this massive sweet potato. I’m making soup with it tonight 😂

Day 8/20 missed a day #booksky but this book opened my eyes about history. I always knew we whitewashed history but the lies we tell about us history is crazy. 47 acres and a mule. Seneca Village. Helen Keller a radical socialist. President Wilson sending troops abroad to intervene…yeah.
