Hey thanks! The "show don't tell" stuff has always struck me as so profoundly untrue.

Like I read Orbital and no offense to Orbital, it's pretty great, but I kept finding myself thinking, who the fuck is taking here? Like whose thoughts are these? I never really got the identity of the narrator.

Same,! It's so hard to avoid getting stuck and overwhelmed. I don't have a perfect solution but going offline for a few days usually helps a little.

Agreed! If somebody wants to read this shit that's gravy on the potatoes but I mean in a lot of ways the whole thing of it is the process of making whatever you make. It's the making of it that counts

I recognize it all too well! Some readers might not, but I'd lean towards not spending a whole lot of time explaining it. I bet they'll get the gist just from the context.

Also I think I've yet to post here without a typo. Thinking of making that thing. I'll be the typo guy.
