If you'd be so kind as to indicate which articles are for paid members and which aren't, it'd be nice.

I will make an account called "I'm a colloquialism" and I will be your nemesis.

As I rocket, like an unguided munition, towards middle age, I had hoped I would be at that point in my life right now. A nice home office, a recliner in the den, an old CRT tv I refuse to get rid of.

I don't have any of those things, lawyer or not.

It's that very train of thought leads me to some very dark, unworthy places.

Always been a fan of the 34-star flag. Flown by the Union regiments throughout the war.

Basically as anti-Confederate as one can get.

2/ You write strongly worded letters and call the white house. You tell people to remain peaceful. How long do we wait and "gather evidence"? Until midterms, until 2029? How many more will lose family members in the meantime?

You won't read this, but I'm saying it. I admire your restraint, and do not envy your position, but you have proven yourself inadequate to deal with this crisis. You don't need to call for violence, but you need to do more. Be clever. Think laterally. Work with others. People die while you wait. 1/

Poor guy. He's just angry at everything for no reason. On, I think it was another post, he was going to yell at someone because they parked in front of a mailbox but then chickened out when someone else pulled up behind him.

The Tribune has been doing great work. The formerly employed lileks must be fuming and I am enjoying that.

At least apply. The interviews would be hilarious.

Not necessarily always thinking that it is equally likely, or likely to work, but it's on the list of definitely possible things the demented man might try, and I loathe to think about the chaos and unpleasantness it will cause, even if it is soundly rejected by his supporters, which is doubtful.

Postscript, Nevermind spelling and typing errors. I'm getting old.

I wonder myself how I would do in his position. I don't envy him. I've read rumors that his family has been threatened. I wonder why things have changed now, as opposed to when he was running for vice-president. The protection he has available? I don't know. I won't speculate much further on that.

Governor Walz finds himself in quite a few unenviable positions right now. First, he is a reasonable person in unreasosnable times. His responses are measured and civil. He's not dealing with measured or civil people, though. Second, he has to wonder where the loyalty of his police and guard lie. /1

A whole bunch? Well, maybe some of us. A percentage. Double digits? I'm so tired.
