I actually did talk about it! Its a simple texture pushing the UVs downwards by a small amount! bsky.app/profile/dead...
speaking of fun effects with typically 3D or game-specific stuff, the paint effect here is done with one extremely simple trick : offsetting UVs using another texture.
The texture itself also is extremely basic, but hey, you don't need more than that for fun visual effects!

Yeah, I need to re-learn how rigging works and also give it textures, but this is fun so far!
