Sometimes I will do something and later, once I start processing the situation, I think ‘Why did I do that?’ And going over the course of events it usually comes down to - I am holding A and I need to give it to B but somewhere in between I forget why I’m holding onto it and I lose my grip.

Here’s a thing that happened this year

I did a lot of things this year. Without analysis it seems like nothing at all.

Going back over them, however, I’m amazed at my achievements.

A decade ago I was in the red zone and tearing apart the worlds of anyone who dared entered my orbit.

Sugar mumma comes in to tell me the exciting news that she waved to the neighbours from the front yard as they drove by(a couple our age with kids) and they waved back!

I decided to follow suit the next time I saw either of them.

I went to see the final performance of Overflow by Travis Alabanza at Geelong Art Centre over the weekend.

Thea Raveneau was amazing! Her performance lulled me into a false sense of security before snapping me back to the reality of the danger awaiting her on the side of the bathroom door.
