Three years ago today and we recorded our debut single, “Missives from the Sisters”. The session also saw us record “Dark Circles” and “Heartbreak Hotel”. It was our first Deadlight Dance session at Mooncalf Studio. #goth #gothic #postpunk #darkwave #bassvi #rickenbacker

Today marks 36yrs since Nick & Tim first shared a stage. We used to rehearse in a mobile classroom (pictured above) & performed at Steadman building, St. John’s school (below) back in 1989.
That band broke up in 1990 & for all the flaws of that performance, there was a feeling that we had began.

Work continues on our next album. A really productive day under the watchful eyes and ears of Nick Beere at Mooncalf. We can really see it taking shape now and are very happy with the results so far.
