We buried my grandmother this weekend and I would say talk to anyone in your life you’ll be responsible for when they die about what they want the end of their life and their memorial and burial to be like. My dad took extremely good care of his mom and it made everything a lot easier.

I learned about Wadi-us-Salaam from Nasser Khadjenoori's photography book "Hodie Mihi, Cras Tibi," in which he documents #cemeteries around the world. He was kind enough to present his work at the FCA conference back in June. Wadi-us-Salaam contains more than 6 million bodies! #deathpositive

I know people have different experiences with hospice, but as someone whose parents both died in hospice care, and as someone who regularly volunteers with hospice patients, I believe that it's an overall good.
