Thinking on it: I actually like the idea of a space game where you can warp 80 galaxies away exactly once, before realizing "oh shit, I'm now stuck in an area that has exactly one working servicing station. An actual "Starfield Minus Starfield" mod would be fucking hilarious though, something that just stubs out the main questline and lets you just do other things instead.

Real talk, though, Bethesda games have the best modding scene, to the point that you can completely overhaul the UI and game mechanics, add lots of custom quests, and expand gameplay into crazy new directions. It's legitimately amazing.
