Aspiration is the answer. Not just “we’re not the bad guys.”

We need something more meaningful than that. I want a future worth fighting for. They have no vision. We do. Lean into our strengths and knock them out. 👊🏽

The more software abstracts creative work, the more I realize people who don’t create things on a regular basis really have no idea how to make things.

People will always be needed in creative work.

I was just able to articulate this for myself, so I am sharing:

The chronic sense of “not being good enough” that so many women hold is internalized misogyny. In a system trying to take our freedoms and rights away, we have internalized the belief that we don’t deserve the basics and our dreams.

Anyone else hate it when characters in a TV drama say…

“I’d like that.”

You know what I mean? That sickly sweet way? I just don’t think that’s how people talk, but I suppose it’s the button to the scene. 🎬
