Olho o jardim que plantei ao meu redor durante o ano que passou. Olho para frente e sei que tenho uma comunidade para florescer.
Today observe the garden I've cultivated around me throughout this past year. When I look ahead, I see: I have a community to help flourish.

Quando me perguntam se sinto falta do Brasil, a resposta é sempre a mesma: sinto falta da família e dos amigos. De resto, a vida é muito boa aqui.
Do I miss Brazil? The answer is always the same: I miss my family and friends. Apart from that, life is very good here.

Nova semana que começa, totalmente fora da rotina (tem greve de metrô). Que seja guiada por pequenos momentos de conexão divina.
A new week begins, entirely outside our usual routine (there's a tube strike). May it be guided by small moments of divine connection.

É shabat, tempo de se alegrar, descansar a alma. Sei que estou em um bom lugar e um bom momento da vida. Só posso agradecer.
It's Shabbat, time to rejoice, to rest our souls. I know I'm in a good place and a good moment in my life. I can only be grateful.

Hoje reflito sobre todos os momentos de medo e dor que passei este ano e me desculpo aos meus filhos pelo mundo ao qual eu trouxe eles.
Today I reflect upon all the moments of fear and pain I've experienced this year and apologize to my children for the world I brought them into.
