After trying many todo apps and services I settled on a local todo.txt file years ago and haven't looked back. Support for updating it via Index 01 would be amazing: todotxt.org
Todo.txt: Future-proof task tracking in a file you control
Track your tasks and projects in a plain text file, todo.txt. A todo.txt is software and operating system agnostic; it's searchable, portable, lightweight and easily manipulated.

Thanks Eric, plenty of useful information on the FAQ. 👍 I'm very tempted by this product, I have the same challenge with short lived, transient ideas/thoughts. RE recycling: I was hoping that you'd be able to reuse the electrical elements and casing, replace the battery and resell as refurbished.

Hi Eric. Thinking about single use, a couple of questions: you say years of life, at a really rough guess, how many years? I realise that depends on many factors and would vary but a range would be good. And recycling: how will that work? How much of the device could be recycled? Thanks!

That display is great! Some nostalgia captured there.

It would be a real shame to lose that history, even more so considering how grounded the new models are in the old technology and OS and the backwards compatibility of the app. I'm certain a resolution can be found. Good luck!

Thanks for another detailed blog post. Let's hope you can resolve this soon! 🤞

I wrote some logic for a Playdate game to handle the behaviour of a user controlled crosshair, bouncing off the edges of the screen, acceleration/deceleration etc. Playing Jurl has inspired me to extract that code and see if I can repurpose it to control a spaceship in a new game. Thanks!

How do you see those guardrails being implemented across the industry? Who do you think is aligned with your views? It's a monumental challenge but I'm glad to see statements like this being made from important figures in AI.

Great post Eric. What's the future hold for manufacturing? Will you guys build more PT2s following the initial batches? Plans for new models? You mention in the post that the phone apps will support other devices, any hints on what those devices may be? Thanks for publishing these detailed blogs!

This is a great development! What do you think the impact to battery life will be?
