How Lola feels about all the grading I’m doing: a photo essay

Staying in from the storms last night inspired Chad to make pizza dough and sauce from scratch. 😋

Chad and I knocked ourselves out over spring break painting our entryway, hallway and living room the happiest, sunniest color. Pics to come once we get the rooms back together. Just know that I feel like I’m living inside a giant banana Laffy Taffy and I love it.

Hiding in my room because Jenna and Chad are watching “Alien: Romulus” and the review Jenna read said there’s “lots of chest-bursting.”

I usually post my first tulip of the season, but when we got home from church today, THREE had popped out. This one is the prettiest.

When your elected officials refuse to hold a town hall, schedule one for them.

Our sweet Lola girl suffered a burn on one of her front paws. Three pads are blistered and the outer layer of one is gone. The vet said she either stepped on something hot or in some kind of chemical. Now she’s loaded up on pain meds and antibiotics, and hopefully resting her way to a full recovery.

College girl came home! ❤️ For old time’s sake, we went to a pre-competition performance of Bryant High School’s indoor percussion. They have an Italian theme this year, complete with a GIANT BOWL OF SPAGHETTI. We are here for it.

I plan to keep doing this every day for the foreseeable future.

This is Julia’s first birthday as a Soule, a grad student, a Yale Bulldog, and a Connecticut resident. Happy 26th to our girl!
