As a Republican, Abraham Lincoln would probably see climate action as more damaging than climate change. And if he did see a climate crisis, he would propose nuclear power as a much better solution than more wind and solar farms (which provide us with less than five percent of our energy).

Despite trillions (dollars and euros, etc.) spent on climate action, greenhouse gas emissions go up every non-Covid year. Can this be reversed by more use of wind and solar power?
