Totally agree. My only issue with this take is there are plenty of publishers who panic easily at anything that looks even slightly placeholder at milestone deliveries, which then mean you have to use a 'non-final but presentable' placeholder.
But even still, AI is not the way to achieve this.

It's such a shame. I've seen a couple really good looking games (in terms of gameplay) that are just ruined for me cause they decided to use AI instead of just hiring someone.
