Canada has no fixed list of medical bans. You may be refused only for public health/safety risks or if treatment costs exceed IRCC’s threshold. Many conditions are fine if stable and affordable.

Proof of funds for Express Entry must be liquid, unencumbered, and fully accessible. Provide bank letters showing balances + 6-month history, and explain large deposits. Needed for most FSW/Trades applicants.

Want to move to Canada? Your CRS score decides your chances in Express Entry. Improve it with better language results, more experience, extra education, or a PNP (+600 pts).

Canada uses the CRS points system to rank Express Entry candidates for PR. Points come from age, education, language tests, work experience, and extras like PNP or French skills. Higher CRS = better chance of an ITA.

Need a higher CRS score for Express Entry? Improve language tests, add education, gain more skilled work experience, or get a provincial nomination (+600 points). Small updates can make a big difference.

Check your CRS score by creating an Express Entry profile — the system calculates it automatically. Or use the IRCC CRS calculator to estimate your score before applying. Tracking your CRS helps you see how competitive you are for an ITA.

CRS is the points system IRCC uses to rank Express Entry candidates. It scores age, education, language tests, and work experience, with up to 1,200 points. Improve your score through language upgrades, more experience, or a PNP.

No fixed CRS score for Canada PR. Recent all-program draws are usually 470–500, while category-based draws can be 430–490. A PNP adds 600 points and almost guarantees an invitation.

You can report suspected immigration fraud to the CBSA Border Watch Tip Line (1-888-502-9060) or via their online form. IRCC can also review misrepresentation on applications. Provide specific details and evidence.

Dual citizenship means you’re legally a citizen of two countries. It can happen through birth, descent, or naturalization. You get the rights of both countries but must follow both sets of laws.

Canada & the Philippines allow dual citizenship. Filipinos who became Canadian can regain PH citizenship under RA 9225 by applying at a consulate and taking the Oath. Canadians can also apply for PH naturalization.

Canada–U.S. dual citizenship happens when you legally gain both citizenships. Americans need Canadian PR first; Canadians need a U.S. green card before naturalizing. Both countries allow dual nationality.

Canada doesn’t have a separate “dual citizenship” process. You become a dual citizen when you gain Canadian citizenship and keep your original one — or when you’re Canadian and obtain another nationality, if that country allows it.
