Ah those halcyon days when US presidents could read....good list too.

Another master class in batting from Travis Head. Carey not bad either!

I like Healy in fairness. Just think it's a bit weird having her commentate on her partner. Warner is awful. Agree on Bishop and McKay. Bishop is excellent. Love his commentary

The Fox coverage is a bit mixed I think. Too much "bantz" and commentators like Healy and Warner who are too close to the players/still playing. I like Gilchrist and Guha but O'Keefe and Vaughan irritate me. NZ commentary team is a far nicer listen.

After reading that article maybe I should be grateful for the Fox coverage. The UK coverage sounds bloody awful!

They're great. Love listening to their podcast. Good measured analysis and perspective from both with a minimum of "bantz". Watching the Ashes in New Zealand we have the Fox coverage which isn't great to be honest with a few exceptions.

What an incredible act of bravery and courage in the face of hate and intolerance.

I honestly can't stand the guy. I never thought he should be leader and definitely don't think he should be now with his temu Starmer approach. Pathetic.

A lot of people go on about the war too as if they were there. Its held up as some sort of moral high ground in the UK these days (not that I live there anymore). Its just ridiculous.

Oh my God they certainly do!
December 7, 2025 at 10:48 PM
What the actual fuck is going on there? Bizarre! How weird does Stallone look?!?!
December 7, 2025 at 8:49 PM
I lost interest in this as I thought New Zealand were going to absolutely slaughter them after their big second innnings total. Amazing fightback! Really pleased for the West Indies though as they've played some good cricket on this tour and especially pleased for Greaves. Incredible innings!

I had a sticker album for the 1978 World Cup which had Wales in it for some reason. It haunted my childhood with it's alternative football reality.

Ridiculous shot.
December 5, 2025 at 10:18 AM
He sounds weirder than usual.

Been a good days cricket. Australia (Starc) started with a hell of a bang but England with Crawley and Root have played really well. Hopefully get past 2 days this time at least!
December 4, 2025 at 9:25 AM
Honestly these press conferences or whatever they're supposed to be are just more and more embarassing as he just spouts gibberish and all the idiots behind just nod along like sycophantic ghouls.
December 3, 2025 at 10:24 PM
I know it's crazy.

Started going on about how was he supposed to know and just belittled everyone for actually wanting to discuss politics in their own country. Think he was well intentioned but the sense of exceptionalism was something else.

There was an argument on here recently during the Irish presidential election after Jim Gavin dropped out. Some American guy thought the discussion was about Gavin Newsom and went off on one. Doubled down on it when people asked him what he going on about.

I left that cesspit over a year ago now. Not sure why anyone would still be there.

I'm not a fan of Wes Anderson. His films irritate me to be honest. I've never walked out of a film but The French Dispatch pushed me close.

Apologies for that, I meant shoulder of course. I had been watching a video of an infamous rugby league forearm smash on the original poster's feed......must have stuck in my head! Been a long day.

I disagree. I don't think there's anything clear about it. His arm is tucked in and there's direct contact to the head. I think it should have been a straight red. I agree with your latter statement but think the justification from the officials for the decision was baffling.
