I made up my mind after seeing probably the millionth video of senseless, inhumane violence that I need to work hard to leave this country. I'm going to find a way to get a visa to the country I chose in 10 years, or less. I've made all my goals happen so far and I know I can do it.

People here are always individualistic, self-interested people and I would rather stand alone giving a shit than be among a workplace, family, or institution that begs me to be unthinking, assimilated, or comfortable. Even if these places cast me out or don't like me.

Not to mention the intergenerational trauma I have had to endure with domestic violence, a highly abusive and narcissistic mother, and emotionally manipulative family members because of the way this country whitewashes, influences, conditions, and reduces people here to malevolent selfish scum.

I would rather dissent and defect more than anything and right now I have hatred for this country my family and grandparents decided to immigrate to, that I've had to live in my whole life. And by proxy I will condemn any country that decides to support, defend, or help America.
