Tari was walking around in the showgrounds until she didn't see a P-Balloon floating down below her as she stepped on it which causes her feet to inflate and puff up as they burst out of her sandals and socks. Saiko and Meggy see Tari floating away with her feet still inflating and swelling as she could do nothing but watch her feet swelling and floating~ (Don't worry, I'm sure her feet will deflate, just give it some time~)

Some transparency regarding recent goings-on, explaining why 7Eves production is moving so slowly right now.

Please read and bear with us.
Many of you have undoubtedly noticed that work on 7Eves has slowed. I'm still sketching pages of the comic, but I have yet to make time to start cleaning any of them up. Rest assured, this is not due to a lack of passion for the project. It is instead, unfortunately, a decision made out of necessity. At the start of February, I received an annual bonus from my workplace. The plan was to hold onto that money and use it to make payments on a brand new PC, replacing my eight-year-old laptop. This came through, and I financed the new PC. The machine is wonderful, and will absolutely aid me in continuing to produce my webcomic and other art. 7Eves has brought me small financial success in the form of my Patreon. Last year brought me the most new and recurring subscriptions that I’ve ever had with the platform, to the point that I actually received a tax form to report my yearly income. When the time came for my wife and I to file our taxes, we went in with high hopes of a decent tax return… and left with our guts in absolute knots. We discovered that I technically qualified as self-employed under Patreon in 2024. Because I hadn't put back any funds or paid quarterly taxes throughout the year, we were heavily penalized, to the tune of more than $3,000. The entirety of my bonus and then some, which was supposed to pay for my new computer, has now gone towards taxes. This is why I’ve neglected working on my comic, and why I’ve been taking on so many commissions lately. On top of that, just after the tax hit, the largest and most damaging hail storm in our lifetime passed through our hometown in the early hours of the morning, damaging roofs, siding, windows… and vehicles. We don't have to worry about repairs to our apartment, thankfully; that's the landlord's problem. But our cars are a different story. I will continue to use my car, as it's the newer of the two… But my wife's car has been confirmed to be a total loss. Which means we will likely have a car payment in the coming months. And we might be seeing our rent go up, as well, since every apartment in our complex is getting a new roof. Things are rough. We won't be spending money freely for pleasure or entertainment for quite some time, which means no new Nintendo console in the foreseeable future. We are only able to spend on the essentials, i.e. food, clothes, bills, insurance, existing credit card debt… It's gonna be tight for a while. I'm not asking for donations or handouts in typing and sharing this. I only wanted to offer some transparency as to why the pace of the comic has slowed so significantly. Obviously we're grateful for any support we get, which is why I continue to push for people to purchase and download the PDF of 7Eves Chapter 1, as well as direct interested folks to my Patreon and my wife's Ko-fi. I will continue to accept sketch commissions for as long as I’m able, but they will remain Patreon-exclusive for the time being. 7Eves will continue. I haven't stopped thinking about this project since it first entered my mind in 2023, and I intend to see it through. It's just not going to come together as fast as I would like. The planned chapters are likely to take me between ten and fifteen years to produce at the rate I'm currently moving, and could take even longer if I’m forced to take commissions every month to get by.
