I feel guilty as I am in a better position than most but I am fucking depressed. I cannot get over things in my past & it's destroying my ability to be happy. I should be buzzing - house on the go, financially doing well, ok job - but the one thing I wish I could have I can't & it's killing me.

One of the reasons I don't get into Christmas much now is because I never had kids. I always find it difficult but to see their excitement and pure innocence is quite something.

Everything is going well for me at the moment - work is survivable, I am in the process of buying a house and I have made some good friends locally - but fuck me seeing my ex still rips my heart out. I should not let it bother me but for some reason I just can't stop it from hurting me 😫

Planning my movements on public transport for Christmas as I don't drive. The costs are ridiculous to go from Manchester to Kidderminster on 22nd, then Kidderminster to Bristol on 23rd, then back to Manchester from Bristol on 27th. This country is fucked, no wonder people drive!
