We all will get sick... for some Americans that means they will also go broke! If we closed the loopholes- like the stepped up basis, that allow the wealthiest of Americans to easily avoid paying taxes - then we could help our sick friends and neighbor in their time of need. #taxes

My dad and millions of others went to college for free on the GI Bill… paid for by taxes which built the middle class of the 1950s and 60s. Now the cost of an education is prohibitive to most. If the wealthiest paid a fair share - instead of avoiding taxes so successfully- that could change.
