Reading, metal, cats, gaming, and trying to figure out this life thing. The spirit of a dwarf stuck in the body of a hobbit.
I mostly started doing it because my hip was bothering me. Realized I don’t walk much outside of getting places at work, which wasn’t enough. Now I’ve been carving out time in the mornings and on my lunch break every day to try to take a walk. My hip has been much better since

They seem to be really young, maybe early 20s. One of them stepped in dog shit and left her boots sitting outside the door….6 months ago and they’re STILL sitting there! I’ve considered cleaning it off for them just to get it over with but who knows what’s decided to crawl up and live in them by now

The tackling is great! That’s what got me into it, watching it and realizing there’s a method to the tackling and a tackle doesn’t end the play. Also the amount of teamwork required in rugby is interesting to see. I know most sports require that anyway but many of those can turn into a one-man show

It’s not very big in the US like it seems to be in other countries, which is why this discovery took so long for me personally. It was random too, I went to a restaurant about 3 weeks ago to get a to-go order, and while I was waiting I was watching their TV and they happened to have rugby on.

I’d enjoy gloomy days more if I didn’t have to drive to work in them

I’m not sure! I don’t remember that happening the last time I was in a trial, but that was also in a different county and 10 years ago. Maybe it just depends on the judge.

We also got to meet the judge and the lawyers afterwards, everyone was very pleasant. They asked us for feedback so they can know what they need to improve on. The case had multiple charges presented, some of them were clear. But others we were hung on and didn’t reach a unanimous verdict.
