Yeah definitely. In a tournament context a set number, or in the case of blast weapons in 40k, a roll, works far better. Thing is the arbitrariness of a blast template is just one of potentially many cases of people arguing over exactness in a tournament ;)

I like them, they cannot really be used in competitive play, because of the error margin. But to me, that’s a good thing, as these games when played competitively aren’t really my teacup anymore.
