25. Les misérables, vol. 1-2 : the manga / story and art by Takahiro Arai ; based on the novel by Victor Hugo ; I forgot about this one! I finished this on my breaks and during nap time at the daycare I worked at. The art was cute and very indicative of the story!

I am happy that I got 5 nonfiction books in, fulfilling my quota for the year. I'm gonna do a quarter of them next year, so seven non fiction.

Okay so, there's no way for me to push through two more adult books in time for the new year, but I got really close and I'm even more hopeful that I can do 26 in 26. This was a lot of fun and I'm hoping to do it way better next year.

23. LGBT Baltimore by Louise Parker Kelley. Pretty good overview of queer history based in Baltimore, I'm pushing myself into Baltimore lore for an upcoming project, and I gleamed a few good facts from it.

22. Lucky day by Chuck tingle

Okay. So. This one stopped me in my tracks. The way he writes tragedy and depression is entirely too good. It put me off reading it for a bit because it was just too close to home. Very very good though.

21. I shall wear midnight, by terry Pratchett. This was good! Sir Terry's writing is like walking into warm water. It's so comforting and like home. I've missed it.

20. The Vanishing Station, by ana ellickson. I devoured this. It was so good, I love the way magic can be called with music and poetry. I immediately went to see about ordering the sequel and it's not out yet and uggggh I want mooore.

19. The Answer is...Reflections on my life, by Alex trebek. Very good, easy to read, stuff I had never heard before. A good read for jeopardy fans. A bit bittersweet now.

18. The next big fling, by Gabriella gamez. I had a few hours to kill in town, went to the library to kill time and charge my devices, grabbed this and just fucking devoured it. Finished it in a day. Love love love it. 10/10

I'm shifting between like, four books right now, with like 20 pages in each. Restless. Nothing's working. It must be fall.

It was amazing and beautiful and frustrating and hopeful all at once. As per usual.

17. Everything is tuberculosis, by John Green. I can't read anything by him without crying. Stop it. I was driving and listening to the audio book. It's not fair.

16. The Cottage Around the Corner, by D. L. Soria. Super cute, easy read, adorable slow burn. Would love to read more.
