I think OBAA is the better movie overall but I do think that musical set piece in Sinners is maybe one of the best things ever filmed? Truly miraculous sequence

It Was Just An Accident and No Other Choice both absolutely deserved nominations. Also, I know the Oscars love Yorgos but that is a very unhinged movie to be up for best picture you have to respect it

Does Nouvelle Vague still work if you’re not very familiar with the subjects? I just watched Blue Moon and really enjoyed it and it has me interested in checking out Nouvelle Vague

They’re both great but it’s such a stacked category. I’d struggle to pick who they’d replace from the noms we got.
