Barnard 164 (LDN 1070) is a large dark nebula. It appears as a dark patch against the brighter background of the Milky Way. The hot blue white bright star in the image is Azelfafage a B3 subgiant. LDN identifier is from Lynds catalogue of Dark Nebulae.
